About Us

Miasma is a Tribal Style Belly Dance Duo based in Nothern Tasmania. Their performances have been described as 'mesmerising', and range from an earthy, gypsy feel, to modern, edgy and intense, drawing on many influences including burlesque, flamenco and gothic/industrial, as well as featuring 'traditional' Tribal Style. Shows can also feature props such as the fire lotus or swords to create dramatic, exciting performances.
