About Us



Miasma  are a Tribal Style Belly Dance Duo based in Nothern Tasmania. Their performances have been described as 'mesmerising', 'dramatic' and even 'dangerous'!  Miasma are well known for combining their synchronised Tribal Style belly dance with fire and sword to create captivating performances. 

Angela and Katrina have been teaching American Tribal Style (ATS) Belly Dance  in Launceston since 2007, and both attained ATS Teacher Certification in 2009, with Carolena Nerricio of Fat Chance Belly Dance (USA - www.fcbd.com ) Miasma Belly Danceis proud to be a sister studio of Fat Chance Belly Dance in San Fransisco.
