Ekstasis

Ekstasis is a vibrant Tribal Belly Dance troupe based in Northern Tasmania made up of students from
Angela and Katrina's intermediate ATS class. Tribal Belly Dance is a structured improvisational form of dance,
which adds to the intensity and excitement of this group's performances. The group connects and communicate
with each other when performing and the way dancers interact make their performances energetic,
dynamic and full of life.

This dynamic group are a perfect performance group for festivals, fundraisers and parties, and have performed at several events, including Unearthed Tribal Belly Dance Festival (Vic. 2010), Jackey's Marsh Forest Festival (2010), La Soiree Nomade (2010), Winter Solstice Fundraiser (2010) Relay for Life (2010), International Women's Day Concert (2009/2010), Tasmanian Middle Eastern Dance Festival (2008/2010), and were even half time entertainment for Van Dieman Rollers in a recent Roller Derby bout!
